KHAIRPUR, Dec 16 Naib Amir of the Sindh chapter of the Jamaat-i-Islami Mumtaz Hussain Sehto said on Wednesday that his party was seriously concerned over conflict between two religious groups in Khairpur, which had created harassment among people and badly affected trade activities.

Speaking at rally at the Civic Centre Chowk, he said that Sindh government and district administration were acting like silent spectators to the grim situation in the area.

He said the government should hold talks with Taliban because talks were the only way to settle a dispute problem.

If the government could hold talks with Afghanistan and India, why not with Taliban, he asked.
