GUJAR KHAN, Dec 27 Punjab chief secretary has directed the concerned authorities to make available land for the construction of a recreational public park for the residents of the city.

Talking to mediapersons from Gujar Khan who met him the other day in Lahore, the chief secretary said he had also directed the concerned authorities to launch an operation against encroachments on the roads and government lands in the city.

The mediapersons apprised the chief secretary of the problems being faced by the residents of the city.

They drew his attention to the rampant encroachments in various areas of the city and adjacent towns.
