KARACHI, Jan 23 Larkana thrashed Jamshoro 35-21 to register its first win on the second day of the Sindh Inter-district basketball championship at Arambagh court on Saturday.

Sikandar (12), Altaf and Saleem eight apiece, shared the scoring honours for Larkana. Asad and Obaid scored 8 and 6 for losers.

Meanwhile, two outstation teams earned full points registering victories over their opponents on Friday evening.

Thatta shocked District Central 'G' 27-24 in the low scoring match. Faisal and Zafar contributed 12 and 7 respectively for winners. Idrees scored 12 for the local team.

Sher Mohammad steered Mirpurkhas to a 43-13 victory over Sukkur in the one-sided match.

He top scored with 22 points followed by Ejaz Hussain 7 and Haris Hussain 6. Huzaifa scored 6 for losers.

Jamshoro went down to District West 'W' 25-35. Sajjad (13), Jahangir (12) and Kashif (10) were the main scorers for winners while Asad and Obaid scored 6 and 5 for losers.
