KARACHI, Jan 26 Young Urooj Iltifat reached ladies singles final, first of her career, when she handed out 7-5, 6-4 defeat to Neha in the first pre-final of SSB Development Series Tennis championship at City Sports Complex on Tuesday.

Urooj, 14, is now set to meet Eman Malik for the title battle after the latter outplayed Neha's sibling Wania 6-0, 6-0 in the other semi-final.

Mubbashir Afridi and Omer Shahid were through to the men's singles last four registering contrasting victories over their respective opponents.

Mubbashir accounted for Mohammad Abdul Saeed 6-2, 7-5 while Omer was home 6-0, 6-0 over Faiq Azam in convincing fashion.
