Volleyball finals of the 11th SA Games Dhaka 2010 between India and Pakistan will take place on Thursday 04 February 2010 at Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium.

Pakistan and India booked final berths on Wednesday beating Sri Lanka and Maldives respectively in the semifinals. In the first semi-final, Pakistan defeated the Lankans by 26-24, 25-21, 25-19 points.

India won the second semi-final against Maldives by 25-21, 25-12, 25-14 points.

About the final Pakistan skipper Zaheer Abbas said, “We are very happy that we defeated Sri-Lanka by 3-0 sets, because Sri Lanka is a good team. I hope we'll win the final match.”

Indian skipper Ukkra Pandian said, “We want to show our real performance against Pakistan in the gold deciding match. We have to play up to the mark.

He added, “Pakistan is a good team. They played good against Sri-Lanka.”

The place deciding match between Sri Lanka and Maldives will be held at 100pm and the final match at 4.00 pm today at the same venue.
