The road from Abbottabad to Nathiagali and Murree has been closed for traffic in the Geha village and link roads in Galayt have also been closed for two days.

Power supply to Galayt has been suspended for two days, which has also led to disruption of the communication link.

The officials admitted that far-flung areas and the mountainous belt of the district experienced prolonged electricity suspension.

The torrential rain also exposed the fragile civic system in the district headquarters, Topi tehsil and the Chota Lahor tehsil. Roads and low-lying areas came under rainwater. Drains and sewerage lines in bazaars of the Topi tehsil were chocked and sewage was overflowing on roads and streets.
