KARACHI Pakistan's young fist-fighters will be taking part in the World Youth Under-18 Boxing Championship, scheduled to be held in Baku, Azerbaijan in March, a spokesman of the Pakistan Boxing Federation (PBF) said on Saturday.

Pakistan has sent their entry in 48, 51, 54, 57, 60kg categories. The PBF spokesman added pugilists from over 50 countries would be taking part in the championship, to be played in Under-17 and -18 age category.

The basic purpose of sending the boxers to Baku was prepare the back-up line for Pakistan's senior teams.—APP
