KARACHI Pakistan's Asjad iqbal and Mohammad Ahsan Javaid are drawn in tough groups in the 11th Asian Under-21 snooker championship scheduled to be held at Indore, India, from April 7 to 15.

According to the draws received here from the Asian Confederation of Billiards Sports on Wednesday, national junior champion Ahsan is drawn in group 'B' whereas Asjad is placed in group 'F'.

Pakistan's third cueist Mohammad Ishtiaq is in group 'H'.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan squad is yet to receive Indian visas for the event.

“We are yet to receive our visas,” PBSA chief Alamgir Shaikh said.

“We submitted our passports in time but still awaiting visas. If the visas are not received within the next 48 hours, it will be difficult for the players to travel to India,” he said.
