KARACHI A 19-member Pakistan Kabaddi team has reached India to participate in World Cup Kabaddi Punjab-2010 to be held at various districts of Punjab from April 3 to April 12, 2010.

Punjab Government, India is organising the World Cup, offering a prize purse of Indian Rs2.16 crore.

Pakistan Kabaddi Federation Secretary Mohammad Sarwar told PPI that apart from Pakistan and hosts India, USA, UK, Canada, Iran, Australia, Italy, Spain and Norway would be featuring in the tournament.

He said that Pakistan team is well prepared for the prestigious event and hoped that the team would bring laurels for the country.

“Our boys have made good preparations for this event and hopefully they would make their mark in the tournament,” Sarwar said.—PPI
