KARACHI, April 6 The Sindh High Court issued notices to the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) in the petition of a former national hockey player who challenged the holding of the federation's election.

Petitioner Shah Jahan submitted that the election of the federation was held on Jan 5, 2010 illegally.

He prayed to the court to declare the election null and void and illegal.

The petitioner also prayed to the court to restrain the PHF from function from holding illegal election.

A division bench comprising Chief Justice Sarmad Jalal Osmany and Justice Zahid Hamid fixed April 13 for the next hearing.
