KARACHI Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and Daniele Bracciali advanced in to the semi-finals of the Rai Open Championship on Wednesday.

Playing against Diego Alvarez of Argentina and Alessio Di Mauro of Italy, Qureshi and Bracciali had to fight hard after winning the first set 6-4. Their opponents' second-set comeback (6-4) led the match to a super tie-break in the ATP Challenger tournament in the Italian capital.

The Pak-Italian pair, however, raced to a 10-6 win in the super-tie break and move into the last-four stage.

They will now face Poland's Tomasz Bednarek and Mateusz Kowalczyk in the semi-final.
