LAHORE, April 26 The probables of the national women training camp have been reduced to 30 from 48 after one-day trials held at the National Hockey Stadium here on Monday.

Only two members of the national selection committee Mohammad Usman and Arshad Chaudhary witnessed the trials. PHF President Qasim Zia and Secretary Asif Bajwa were also present on the occasion.

The camp is in progress to pick up the national team to appear in the Asian Games qualifiers to be held in Bangkok, Thailand from May 22 to 29.

Besides Pakistan, the other countries which are taking part in the Beijing Asian Games qualifiers are Hong Kong, Kazakhstan, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Chinese Taipei, Uzbekistan and Thailand.
