KOHAT, May 16 The owner of a filling station was killed when police tried to release him from his kidnappers in Hangu district on Sunday.

Sources said that unidentified armed persons kidnapped Qaziullah, the owner of Qazi Pump, and tried to shift him to their bastion. Police chased the kidnappers when they were informed about the incident, sources added.

They said that police engaged the armed persons near the mountains. The owner of the filling station was killed when his captors exchanged fire with police, sources said. They added that the armed persons managed to escape.
