HYDERABAD, May 17 The sixth session of the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) Netball Coaching and Tournament Programme commenced at the Shah Latif College for Women in Hyderabad on Monday.

The programme was attended by 250 girl players and some 35 sports teachers representing the different schools and colleges of the city.

Twelve teams also registered for the regional tournament, which was followed by the taking out of the draws.

Netballs, poles, bibs and literature was also presented to Secretary Hyderabad Netball Association, Ms Aisha, by Azhar Qadir Memon, Adminstator, Latifabad Town, the chief guest.

Abdul Razak Arain, Chairman, Pakistan Netball Federation (PNF) was also present on the occasion.

The programme is organised by the PNF in collaboration with ASC and the Sindh Netball Association (SNA).—Agencies
