DADU, May 27 The spate of robberies in this part of province has made lives of people so miserable that villagers are clamouring for the deployment of Rangers.

PPP, MNA, Dr Talat Mahessar was here to distribute cheques among the heirs of the four killed at the hands of muggers some 23 days ago. Each family was handed over a cheque of Rs50,000.

He said that he would talk to chief minister and home minister for permanent deployment of Rangers personnel in Borari and surroundings area of Khairpur Nathan Shah for securing the lives and property of residents.

He also disclosed of initiating an operation in the radius of 300km to purge the area from such elements.

He promised of providing security to students and teachers and would ensure the educational facilities revive their academic activities soon.

Earlier, a villager, Mohammad Ramzan Bughio told Dr Mahessar that all roads leading to Borari village were secured by the robbers who have made it a no-go area, confining people inside their houses.
