KARACHI, June 25 Sindh with a tally of 105 points finished runners up in the PSB under-14 boys' karate championship at Ayub Stadium Quetta on Friday.
According to results made available here, the young Sindh karatekas amassed a total of seven medals - 2-4-1.
Hosts Balochistan, meanwhile, won the top honours securing 115 points through five gold medals and two silvers.
Sindh fetched their two gold medals through Jamaluddin in 40kg individual kata and Rashid Ali, Shah Noor and Shah Faisal in team kata.
The recipients of silver medals were Mohammad Ali Suhail in 35kg individual kata and kumite, Mohammad Ahmed in 44kg and Shehryar in 50kg. Ahmed Raza bagged the lone bronze.
Meanwhile, Sindh has secured a gold medal, three silvers and a bronze in the PSB Inter-provincial under-16 girls' taekwondo championship which is being held simultaneously.
Those who did Sindh proud include Ayesha (gold) in 44kg, Tanzila, Fatima Ayaz and Dua Danish (silvers) in 46kg, 62kg and 49kg and Asna (bronze) in 42kg.
