KARACHI The Quaid-i-Azam Gold Cup Hockey Tournament will be played at the Hockey Club of Pakistan (HCP) ground from July 28 to Aug 3.

Featuring seven departmental teams, namely, Pakistan Customs, Wapda, PQA, Army, Pakistan Steel, NBP, HBL, four provincial association teams as well as a foreign team representing Ghana Customs, two matches will be played everyday with the first starting at 3.00pm and the second at 5.00pm.

“Besides the Man of the Match award of Rs 5000 for each match, there will be an additional award of Rs 10,000 cash and a return ticket to Islamabad for the spectators in daily draws. Entry is free,” said the event manager Habib Ahmed.—Sports Reporter
