KARACHI, July 29 Pakistan Steel outclassed Sindh 8-0 on day two of the fourth Customs Quaid-i-Azam Gold Cup Hockey Tournament being played simultaneously at the Hockey Club of Pakistan (HCP) and Olympian Iftikhar Syed Sports Academy (OISSA) here.

The match played at OISSA saw two goals each being scored by Aley Imran and Sarfaraz while Sultan Ashraf, Shahbaz, Rauf, Malik Imran added one each.

Earlier, Port Qasim Authority (PQA) beat Punjab 4-2 at the OISSA ground. Owais Khan scored two goals while Azlan Khan and Malik Shafiq added one each for the winners. Punjab's two goals were scored by Hafiz Rizwan, who was also declared the Man of the Match.

At the HCP, National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) edged past Wapda 4-3. Yasir Shabbir scored two while M. Ateeq and M. Nadeem added one each for the bankers. Wapda's goals were scored by Sohail Abbas (two) and Mohammad Imran (one). NBP's Yasir Shabbir was declared Man of the Match.

Habib Bank Limited (HBL) beat Pakistan Customs 5-3 also at the HCP. HBL's Rana Zubair and Abdul Qayyum Dogar scored two each while Nasir Shahzad added one more for the winners.

Mohammad Ahsan, Imran and Rao Amir scored one each for Pakistan Customs. HBL's Abdul Qayyum Dogar was declared Man of the Match.
