Protests against Quetta killings

VEHARI, Aug 16 A large number of villagers staged a demonstration and blocked Vehari-Multan road the other night against the killing of six labourers in Quetta.

According to detail, a number of labourers from Chak 158/WB were settled temporarily in Quetta to earn their living. Six of them were killed by unknown criminals a few days ago.

A large number of villagers gathered near Chowk Matela and blocked Vehari-Multan road. They urged the government to ensure early arrest of the killers besides announcing compensation for the bereaved families.—APP
