LAHORE, Aug 25: The Faisal Town police have registered a case about kidnapping of a businessman, said to be a relative of a senior military officer.

A senior police official told that Mr Aamir Malick of Faisal Town was kidnapped from outside his residence by four to five men at around 8:45pm.

The official declined to discuss details of the incident. He said police were carrying out a thorough investigation.

He said it would be premature to say that Mr Malick had been kidnapped by militants because he was related to a military officer.
