Published September 6, 2002

BAHAWALNAGAR, Sept 4: The Pakistan People’s Party is facing problems for NA-188 candidate as its aspirant, former MNA Syed Asghar Shah, has joined the PML-QA.

Mr Shah made a settlement with ex-MPA Mian Khadim Husain Kaloka who was in run from this constituency from the PML-QA. Now the former minister will contest from PP-277.

Both the candidates were considered strong and their detachment is a setback to the PPP.
