SWABI, Sept 3: Six people, including two youngsters, were killed and two injured in separate incidents here on Friday, said police.

Officials said Ajmal and Hassan and the latter’s brother, whose name could not be known, were returning home in Zaida city after attending to a case in the Swabi Judicial Complex, when they were ambushed by their rivals in Shahmansoor graveyard. They were showered with bullets by their opponents, which resulted in their instant death. Police after learning of the incident reached the spot and chased the culprits but they escaped.

Similarly, in Salim Khan area members of two families clashed over a dispute concerning women. They opened fire over each other, which resulted in the killing of Zulfiqar Khan and serious injuries to Asif Khan. An FIR has been registered against Abid in Swabi police station.

Likewise, in Yar Hussain, Haroon Khan was shot dead by Zulqarnain of the same region. The cause of the incident was stated a dispute over the relations of a woman. Brother of deceased, Ashraf Khan registered FIR against Zulqarnain.

Meanwhile, body of Lal Mohammad was found in Sheikh Jana Khawar region. He was reportedly shot dead by unidentified men.
