SWABI, Sept 23 An additional SHO of the Swabi police station was allegedly shot dead by his second wife here on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Rahat Ali. The incident occurred in Topi tehsil.
The police arrested Nargas and recovered a Kalashnikov from her after Rahat Ali's son from first wife, Hamza, registered FIR against his stepmother.
The motive behind the murder was stated to be a dispute between Mr Ali and Nargas over accommodating his third wife in the house. It was learnt that Ali had killed his first wife.—Correspondent
