QUETTA, Sept 28: Three people were gunned down by armed men in Hazarganji area and a kidnapped trader was found dead in Sariab area on Tuesday.
Sources said that four people were carrying vegetables to Hazara town from Hazarganji in a pick-up when the armed men riding a motorcycle opened fire at them.
Two people died on the spot and two others were injured. They were taken to the Bolan Medical Complex Hospital, where one of them died. The deceased were identified as Mohammad Ali, Abdul Wahab Durrani and Murad Ali. The injured was named as Ahmed Shah.
Police sources said it could be a sectarian target killing.
Meanwhile, a cellphone shop owner, Mohammad Ali Hazara, was found dead in Kachi Beg area of Sariab. He had been kidnapped from the Kasi road by armed men last week.
Three people, including a schoolteacher, were injured in the industrial town of Hub when unidentified people hurled a grenade at the Government High School.
