Bahawalpur, AJK in final

BAHAWALPUR, Oct 12 Hosts Bahawalpur and Azad Jammu Kashmir qualified for the final of All-Pakistan NBP Twenty20 cricket tournament after winning their respective semi-finals at the Dring Stadium here on Tuesday.

Bahawalpur scored a four-wicket victory over Lahore.

Lahore, who were put into bat, made 186-7 in their 20 overs before fine batting by Zafar (82) and Waqas (42) guided Bahawalpur home.

In the other semi-final, Azad Jammu Kashmir eased to an eight-wicket win.

Peshawar, who were asked to bat first, were bowled out for 124 in 19.5 overs.

AJK reached the final by scoring 125-2 in 15.2 overs with Jamil contributing exactly 50.—Correspondent
