Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and Rohan Bopanna are in the Shanghai Masters quarterfinals.

Riding on the success of their US Open run, Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and Rohan Bopanna continued their scintillating form to enter the quarterfinals of the Shanghai Masters on Thursday.

The IndoPak Express faced a tall order in the form of Wesley Moodie of South Africa (six feet, five inches) and Dick Norman of Belgium (six feet, eight inches) in the pre-quarterfinals of the ATP Masters Championship but were able to down their opponents in straight sets (6-3, 7-5).

In the 75-minute long match, Qureshi and Bopanna did not drop a single break point. In turn, the IndoPak Express set up three break points and by availing one in each set, they broke the Moodie-Norman serve in the eighth game in the first set and 11th game in the second set.

After a grueling first match in the tournament, Qureshi and Bopanna were more at ease in the second, winning 63 points as compared to their opponents' 45.

Meanwhile, the South Asian duo sent down 12 aces while their opponents hit five.

The IndoPak Express will face the winners Leander Paes-Jurgen Melzer (third seeds) and Janko Tipsarevic-Thomaz Bellucci.
