ISLAMABAD, Oct 20 A TV channel named after Benazir Bhutto and an FM Radio are being set up in the public sector to educate farmers about modern farming technology suiting their needs.
The channel will reach 6.6 million farmer households across the country and will mainly telecast agriculture-related programmes.
The matter was discussed by Pakistan Agricultural Research Council chairman Dr Zafar Altaf in a meeting with Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Wednesday.
