LAHORE: Pakistan Football Federation’s English consultant Graham Roberts has emphasised the need to establish more academies on the pattern of Model Town Football academy to expand the span of football activities at grass-roots level.

“Academies are required to give boys and girls a platform. The base of football in most of the highly-reputed football countries revolve around academies.

“If Pakistan wants to progress in football, more academies should be formed to promote the game,” said the foreign consultant during his visit to the Model Town academy on Wednesday.
