ATTOCK, Nov 2: The district administration on Tuesday claimed to have taken all measures to avoid outbreak of dengue fever.
A press release said the district coordination officer (DCO), while chairing a meeting, said so far four suspected dengue patients had been shifted to a hospital in Rawalpindi where they had recovered.
He said now no dengue patient had been admitted in any hospital of the district.
Among others officials, the executive district officer (health) Dr Mussarrat Hussain was also present in the meeting.
The DCO separate wards had been set up at the District Headquarters Hospital, all tehsil headquarters hospitals and basic health units with facilities to give proper treatment to suspected patients.
Meanwhile, EDO Dr Mussarat said a public awareness campaign had also been started through mosques and social workers.
