Inter-club football

KARACHI, Nov 3: The PSO Inter-club Football Championship matches resumed at the Peoples Sports Complex after a two-week gap on Wednesday with Makran Sports FC beating Irshan Shaheed FC 3-0 in the third quarter final.

The goals for the winners were scored by Mohammad Shahzad (15th min), Atif Ali (70th min) and Mohammad Naveed (84th min).

Earlier, Karachi Kickers and Kalri Star FC had already reached the semi-finals after winning their quarter-final encounters on Oct 18 and 19, respectively.

The fourth quarter-final will be played between Nawab XI FC and Gulshan-i-Mujahid at the same venue on Thursday.
