ISLAMABAD: Federal Law Minister Babar Awan said on Tuesday that there is no record being kept of any of the aid and assistance coming from abroad and neither is any tax being imposed on that money. The government wants this issue to be dealt with according to law.

While speaking in Islamabad in a seminar, Awan said that a conference will take place in the second week of January which will focus on the issue of money laundering and laws regarding this issue will be discussed.

Regarding the RGST, the minister said that people who do not want to pay taxes are the ones opposing this law. He said that taxes will have to be paid by everyone.
