KARACHI, Jan 2: Karachi reached the semi-finals of the NBP Sindh Inter-district Hockey Tournament when they thrashed Naushero Feroze 10-0 at the Hockey Club of Pakistan here on Sunday.

Left-in Zubair Ahmed slammed a hat-trick (third, seventh and 11th mins) while two goals each were scored by left-out Fareed (21st and 25th mins) and fullback Shujaat Ali (40th and 49th mins) with centre-forward Irfan (51st min), right-in Hamza (57th min) and right-half Zohaib Khan (67th min) adding three more to the winner’s tally.

Monday is a rest day after which the tournament moves to Hyderabad from Tuesday.
