ABU DHABI: US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton still thinks her 64-year-old husband and former President Bill Clinton is “handsome,” she said in a talk show on Monday on the Arabic-language channel MBC.

When “we met at law school... I thought he was incredibly handsome and still do. I told him we should be introduced,” Clinton said during the recorded episode. She also described her husband as an “excellent saxophone player,” adding that he was training in a small room at home.

During his presidency, he had no time to practice, she said.

When asked about her son-in-law, investment banker Marc Mezvinsky, Clinton described him as “perfect.” “We’re extremely happy,” she said, adding that her only daughter, Chelsea, had known him since childhood.

Clinton talked casually throughout her conversation with three female presenters — an Egyptian, a Lebanese and a Saudi — recorded in the presence of students from Zayed University in Abu Dhabi.—AFP
