I went walking one Sunday on I.I. Chundrigarh Road to see if I could get some shots of the city. Many local teenagers and children were playing on a wide empty street. A few of them saw me, abandoned their cricket and decided to have some fun with the camera. They asked me to take their picture, and wanting to avoid the usual shot of crowded kids staring into a lens, I encouraged them to do something interesting. To my surprise they quickly picked up some sticks from the trash and started showing me their Kung-fu-style moves. Surprisingly accurate with their poses and high-flying kicks, they provided me with some interesting photographs and lots of entertainment. - Photos and text by Nadir Siddiqui

They are nice shots indeed but I wish to see these brilliant kids in some Karate School to at least learn something, something recreational rather than roaming around the streets to be the part of crime which is prevailing in our country like a plague. I just wish!!!

No doubt very nice pics.
However, any idea as how can we cool down this nation's passion for fight :)?
Even since their childhood they perfectly portray as warriors. I am already scarred.

Marvelous ! Raw street talent is being wasted in wrong ideas of the time. By the way the pics were very entertaining.

Good photography, Nadir.
Personally, I think Black and White should be used sparingly to provide a sudden visual pause to the viewer.
Plus, knowing how rich the background colours and sunlight are there in Pakistan, I think colour versions of these shots would be more interesting, at least to foreign viewers. But then I guess, you audience may be domestic.
But well done. Making kids perform on camera like you did is not easy. I film children a lot.
And the best shots happen on the spur of the moment.
