LAHORE: Newly appointed Governor Punjab Sardar Latif Khosa called on Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif in Raiwind on Tuesday. The leaders were meeting to discuss the current political situation and as a step toward implementing the reconciliation policy.

Khosa reached Raiwind with a Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) delegation that included Raja Riaz, Tanvir Ashraf Kaira and PPP’s Punjab President Imtiaz Safdar Warraich.

After assuming the position of Governor Punjab, Khosa said he would develop cordial relations with the provincial government and that his meeting with Nawaz Sharif was the first among many in a bid to reconcile differences with different political parties.

Khosa said the meeting with Nawaz Sharif was a feature of his reconciliation policy.

He further said that he would hold meetings with other political parties soon.
