SUKKUR: Bandits kill boy

SUKKUR, Oct 4: A boy was killed and his father was injured when they offered resistance to bandits in Abdul Rehman Punjabi village of Ghotki district, on Friday.

Four armed dacoits barged into the house of Mallan Khan Lolai last night and tried to over power the inmates, when the son of Mallan Lolai offered resistance, the bandits opened fire, as a result Wadhal Lolai was killed on the spot and his father was injured and was admitted to the Ghotki hospital in serious condition.

NADRA: The regional director, NADRA, Sukkur, has discharged its four representatives from their duties.

They include Hadi Bukhsh Rahoojo, Rahooja union council, Sukkur taluka; Fareed Ahmed, Gharibabad-7 UC; Sajid Ali, Ali Wahan UC, Rohri taluka; and Ghulam Akber, Wazirabad UC, Lakhi taluka, Shikarpur district.
