Two Nato tankers torched in Bolan

QUETTA: Unidentified gunmen on Friday torched two Nato tankers carrying logistics for the International Security Assistance Force (Isaf) operating in Afghanistan, in Bolan area, some 20 kilometres from Quetta.

According to sources, the Nato vehicles were on route to Afghanistan from Karachi when unknown armed men intercepted the vehicles.

They offloaded the people on board, set the tankers alight and started firing at the vehicles.

As a result, both containers and were gutted.

The assailants managed to escape from the scene.

The local administration then reached the site and started a probe into the incident.
