Once a major form of mass entertainment, the 90-year-old Great Bombay Circus company is struggling to keep up the tradition due to the difficulty in getting new talent to join the art, tough competition from developing forms of digital entertainment, and lack of institutional support for the profession. – Photos by AFP.

I really wish these circus culture would disappear soon. Any person with an iota of kindness for animals would be shocked to know how these animals are treated so badly. They bare starved and treated cruelly. In countries like Pakistan and India or other countries there are no laws to prevent cruelty to animals. This makes it worse.
So I say ban these shows.

Circuses are dying out in the USA & Canada. The cruelty towards the animals is turning people off. Much more interest to watch Cirque De Sol.

People who feel that the animals are not treated well in Circus must understand that animals are the assets to the Circus. They are as valuable as a child to its parents. The wisher who wants Circuses to fade away, should go and check himself how the animals are treated in the Circus. Just by looking at animals, you can never tell that they are treated badly. Circuses are already facing problems and so called "animal conservators" create more problems ! If you feel so much, then go and get stopped all the slaughter houses where animals are CUT and sent for the people to EAT them !!!
If you can not help Circus in getting more and more viewers, you have NO Right to blame !
