KARACHI: Police on Tuesday conducted a raid on a private hospital located in North Nazimabad and arrested an injured member of the Tehreek-e-Taliban.

According to sources, the accused Sarzameen Khan, a resident of Swat, was injured during a clash with security forces. He then escaped Swat and fled to Karachi where he was getting treatment under an alias.

Police transferred the accused to an unknown location for interrogation. He had been shot twice and had initially been taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, from where his accomplices later took him to Health Care Hospital.
