LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief, Nawaz Sharif, here on Saturday blamed President Asif Ali Zardari for failing his efforts to achieve national reconciliation and to eradicate the people’s problems, DawnNews reported.

“We fully supported the government to alleviate poverty, load-shedding, inflation and other critical issues, but Zardari failed all our efforts,” said Nawaz while speaking to a party workers’ meeting.

He said that he will support a principles stance regarding the Raymond Davis case because Pakistan's sovereignty takes precedence over everything else.

Nawaz said that the PML-N’s sincerity on national issues must not be considered its weakness.

He said the party proposed a 10-point reforms agenda to eradicate the common man’s issues but the government disappointed everyone on that front as well.
