LAHORE: Pakisan People's Party (PPP) leader Raja Riaz on Monday said that the PPP would continue the politics of reconciliation and would not destabilise the Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) government in Punjab, DawnNews reported.

Speaking to media representatives in Lahore, Riaz said Shahbaz Sharif was "being deceptive by talking about revolution while living the life of princes".

Riaz further said that the PPP in Punjab would urge the provincial government to implement the 19-point agenda and would not hide their shortcomings.

Riaz said PPP ministers were not satisfied in the Punjab government but were bound by party discipline and were therefore not resigning.

He said that regardless of the political developments in the province, the PPP wished to continue its reconciliation policy.
