KARACHI, March 1: Top seed Saif Noor Sumar together with unseeded Talha Zubair Surmawala moved into the men’s singles semi-finals of the second Subh-e-Nau tennis series at the City Sports Complex on Tuesday.

Saif, who made exit in the SSB development series tennis following a 6-4, 6-4 drubbing at the hands of Nasir Mushtaq in the pre-final on Friday, sent Mustafa Ali packing 7-5, 6-0.

Talha, on the other hand, accounted for Saad Noor Sumar 6-4, 6-4.

Seeded on top in juniors’ under-17, Talha, had another success in the day by getting the better of Azhar Abdul Qadir 6-2, 7-5. Second seed Saad Noor Sumar also surged after he got a walkover against Saod Shoaib.
