KHAIRPUR, March 2: A seven-year-old girl was attacked and killed by dogs in the village of Qaim Kalhoro on Wednesday when she was going to school.

A student of class three, Shahnila Kalhoro, was on her way to the primary school in the village of Lundi Shaikh when four dogs bit off flesh from the chest and back, killing her on the spot.

Later, relatives and police reached the spot and took her body to the village. ARRESTED: Ten criminals were arrested when they were planning a crime.

DPO of Khairpur Khadim Hussain Rind told reporters that that Babarloi police arrested two suspects on Tuesday night from the area of Garhi Mori.

They were identified as Ameer Bux Mahar and Imtiaz of the area of Rustam in Shikarpur district.

On their tip-off, police raided a place near Garhi Pathano and arrested eight other accused, including Suleman alias Papu Utero carrying head money of rupees one million.

The DPO said that Papu Utero and his accomplices, including Mohammad Ali Utero, Bashir Channa, Ghulam Mustafa Langah, Zulfiqar Bughio and Qurban Balhrro (both of Larkana district), Javed Shah and Rustam Rajpur of Ranipur were wanted in several criminal cases.

He said that the accused belonged to different areas and were gathered with the intention to commit some big crime.

Suleman, Bashir Channa, Rustam Rajpar and Mohammad Ali Utero who belong to district Khairpur were wanted in many cases of robbery and other crimes.
