LANDI KOTAL: A bomb blast destroyed two oil tankers near the Torkham border in northwestern Pakistan’s Khyber tribal region on Friday, DawnNews reported.

Security forces reached the site of the explosion and cordoned off the area.

No casualties were reported in the blast and a search operation had been started.

No group claimed responsibility for the blast but the Taliban have claimed such attacks in the past. The bulk of supplies and equipment required by foreign troops in Afghanistan are shipped through the Khyber region.
