LAHORE, March 7: The 28-member Malaysian football squad has arrived here on Monday to play the match against Pakistan for London Olympics qualifier scheduled to be held at the Punjab Stadium here on Wednesday.

The squad comprises 18 players and 10 officials.

The visitors won the first leg 2-0 at home on Feb 23 and a simple win is enough to move them to the next stage of the qualifying round.

But Pakistan are in need to beat Malaysia by a difference of three goals margin (3-0 or 4-1) to march further in the qualifying stage. Agencies add:

Malaysian coach Ong Kim Swee said: “I want momentum of the match against Pakistan on Feb 23 to continue.”
