LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz leader and Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah on Tuesday said the bomb blast in Faisalabad was remotely controlled and that the provincial government would compensate the injured and the families of the deceased, DawnNews reported.

Speaking to media representatives in Lahore, Sanaullah said terrorism could not be prevented without a "mobile tracking system". He said despite repeated requests, the federal government did not provide the provincial government with the system.

Sanaullah further said that if a 'no-confidence' motion was brought in Punjab, then a similar motion could also be tabled at the centre.

Sanaullah’s statement comes days after Opposition Leader in the Punjab Assembly Raja Riaz said that the Pakistan People’s Party legislators would vote for Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif in case a no-confidence motion was moved against him.

“On the direction of President Asif Ali Zardari, our party will stand against any move to destabilise Shahbaz’s government in Punjab. However, we will do issue-based politics while sitting on the opposition benches,” Riaz said.
