PESHAWAR/KOHAT, March 9: Suspected militants blew up two more schools in Peshawar and Darra Adamkehl in the small hours of Wednesday.

Officials said that a government-run primary school at Darwazgai village, on the suburbs of Peshawar, was blown up by unidentified militants.

They said that three explosives were planted in the three-room building of the school. The explosives went off at about 2am and destroyed the school they added.

Unidentified persons also blew up a government-run school for boys in the eighth strike during a week in Darra Adamkhel, the semi-autonomous tribal area of Kohat district, on Wednesday morning.

The school was blown up with explosives in Kohiwal area in the jurisdiction of Akhorwal tribe for the second time, officials said.
