HYDERABAD, Oct 11: In the highly-fluid emerging political scenario, the People’s Party Parliamentarians (PPP) secured four out of the six National Assembly seats from the Hyderabad district.

The Muttahida Qaumi Movement lost one of its National Assembly and one provincial assembly seat from the region.

The PPP lost one seat each from Tando Allahyar and Tando Mohammad Khan.

According to unofficial results, the PPP’s Makhdoom Amin Faheem won from NA-218 by securing 102,059 votes, the Muttahida’s Prof Khalid Wahab won from NA-219 with 36,755 votes, the MMA’s Sahibzada Abul Khair Muhammad Zubair won from NA-220 with 441,077 votes, Syed Ameer Ali Shah Jamote (PPP) secured the seat from NA- 221 with 44,899 votes, Syed Naveed Qamar Zaman Shah (PPP) won from NA-222 after obtaining 53,511 votes and Begum Shamshad Sattar Bachani (PPP) obtained 50,624 votes and secured the seat from NA-223.

On the 12 provincial assembly seats, Makhdoom Jamil-uz-Zaman of the PPP emerged victorious with 55,486 votes from PS-43, Syed Jalal Shah Jamote (PML-F) won the seat from PS-44 with 27,409 votes, Abdul Rehman Rajput (MMA) won from PS-45 with 17,884 votes, Arshad Shah (MMA) won from PS-46 with 23,281 votes, Zahid Bhurgari (PPP) won from PS-47 with 19,120 votes, Mohammad Naeem Ishtiaq (MQM) secured seat from PS-48 with 21,691 votes, Aslam Pervez Khan (MQM) won from PS-49 with 13,349 votes, Peer Amjad Shah Jilani of (PPP) won the seat from PS-50 with 33,727 votes, Syed Ali Nawaz Shah Rizvi (PPP) won from PS-51 with 31,503 votes, Dr Irfan Gul Magsi (Independent) won from PS-52 with 18,981 votes, Mir Ali Nawaz Talpur (National Alliance) won from PS-53 with 20,529 votes and Abdul Qadir Soomro of the PPP secured the PS-54 seat with 22,132 votes.

Our Khairpur Correspondent adds: According to unofficial results, the following candidates have been declared successful on the three National Assembly and six provincial assembly seats from district Khairpur.

NA-215 (Khairpur-I): Manzoor Hussain Wassan (PPP) won this seat by securing 62,348 votes.

NA-216 (Khairpur-II): Syed Sadaruddin Shah Rashidi (PML-F) won this seat after bagging 63,857 votes.

NA-217 (Khairpur-III): Syed Fazal Ali Shah Jilani (PPP) secured this seat with 54,111 votes.

PS-29 (Khairpur-I): Syed Qaim Ali Shah (PPP) won the seat by securing 27,288 votes.

PS-30 (Khairpur-II): Syed Sadaruddin Shah Rashidi (PML-F) won this seat by securing 26,479 votes.

PS-31 (Khairpur-III): Basheer Ahmed Bhambhan (PML-F) was declared successful with 30,408 votes.

PS-32 (Khairpur-IV): Nawab Ali Wassan (PPP) won by securing 30,161 votes.

PS-33 (Khairpur-V): Zahid Ali Bhambhan (PPP) won the seat by securing 31,468 votes.

PS-34 (Khairpur-VI): Naeem Kharal (PPP) was elected after securing 27,701 votes.

Our Shikarpur Correspondent adds: The unofficial results for the two National Assembly and four provincial assembly seats from Shikarpur district are as follows:

Dr Mohammad Ibrahim Jatoi (National Alliance) won from NA-202 by securing 53,228 votes. Ghous Bux Khan Mehar (PML-Q) won from NA-203 with 61,432 votes.

Zulfiqar Ali Kamario (PML-Q) won the PS-9 seat by securing 24,491 votes. Ghous Bakhsh Mehar (PML-Q) won from PS-10 with 38,321 votes.

Agha Tariq Khan (PPP) defeated the SDA chief, Imtiaz Ahmed Shaikh (NA), by securing 17,574 votes. Dr Mohammad Ibrahim Jatoi (NA) won the seat from PS-12 by securing 36,591 votes.

Our Naushahro Feroze Correspondent adds: The following is the unofficial results for the National Assembly and Provincial Assembly seat from Naushahro Feroze district.

Abdul Ghaffar Jatoi (NA) won from NA-211 with 83,150 votes. Syed Zafar Ali Shah (PPP) won NA-212 by securing 75,861 votes.

Arif Khan Jatoi (NA) won the PS-19 seat by getting 41,192 votes.

Abdul Haq Bhurt (PPP) won seat from PS-20 with 18,483 votes.

Syed Manzoor Hussain Shah (PPP) was declared successful from PS-21 after he secured 29,175 votes.

Noor Muhammad Shah (PML-Q) was elected from PS-22 after he secured 26,049 votes.

Farhaduzaman Jatoi (NA) won the seat from PS-23 by securing 25,261 votes.
