LAHORE: Wapda will defend its title in the 46th edition of the National Senior Men’s Volleyball Championship which is commencing at WAPDA Sports Complex from Friday.

Twelve teams are taking part in the seven-day event.

Besides Wapda, Army, Navy, PAF, Police, Railway, Higher Education Commission, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtoonkhawa and Sindh are contesting the event. The semi-finals will be held on 30th March and the final will be played on March 31, 2011.

The opening match will be played between Pakistan Police and HEC at 4:30 pm. Syed Arif Hasan president Pakistan Olympic Association will be the Cheif Guest at the opening ceremony.
