KALAYA, April 1: Nine militants were killed when security forces launched a counter-offensive after the terrorists attacked a checkpost in Orakzai Agency on Friday. According to officials, three security personnel were injured when the militants attacked the checkpost in Dabori area from two sides.

The security personnel retaliated with heavy weapons, killing nine militants.

The injured personnel were identified as Sajid, Mirza Tabassum and Azeem Khan. They were taken to the Combined Military Hospital in Kohat. The forces launched a search operation in localities near Dabori after the attack and seized a number of rocket shells and landmines.
